High velocity hood is mainly provided over M.G Cylinders for faster drying rate and better quality of paper. MG Cylinder Velocity Hood System is different in design and construction than open hood system. All exhausted vapors from the surface of MG cylinders in the MG Cylinder Velocity Hood System are taken into system and utilized so as to pre-heat the supplying make up air before taking it into steam heated boxes. Supply air is heated up to 140o C and forced into plenum box.
